Responsible Gambling
Everything on this site describes gambling at operators outside state regulation. That has a specific consequence for player protection which is worth stating on its own page.
The tools you do not get
A state-regulated casino plugs into a self-exclusion scheme. One request locks you out of every operator in that scheme, and the regulator enforces it. Offshore operators are not in any shared scheme. A self-exclusion request applies to that one operator, depends on that operator honouring it, and does nothing about the next site you find. If you need to stop, the infrastructure that would normally help you is missing here.
Set your own limits first
Because the operator will not do it for you, decide before you deposit: a fixed monthly amount you are willing to lose, and a rule that you never top up after a loss. Keep gambling funds in a separate wallet from the money you live on. Treat a bonus rollover as a cost, not an opportunity.
Warning signs
- Depositing more than you planned, or more often than you planned.
- Chasing a loss with a larger stake.
- Gambling with money set aside for something else.
- Hiding how much you play from people close to you.
- Playing to escape stress rather than for entertainment.
